Atomic is a Norwegian/Swedish jazz band who for the whole 21st century have been spearhead of Scandinavian contemporary jazz ideas. They are on tour for the last time, and having never played Dallas before, the Texas Theatre show will be their first North-American stop. By some wonderful coincidence, the legendary Ra Kalam Moses will be on tour with the great Damon Smith, Houston reed player Danny Kamins and Dallas’ own Aaron Gonzalez will join them to open the night as a promising powerful quartet.

$20 advance, $22 door.
