HI KIDS!

Join us 10/23 for the next SUSPENDED ANIMATION for a rare theatrical screening of the 1988 cult classic anime horror DEMON CITY SHINJUKU, from Yoshiaki Kawajiri (Ninja Scroll, Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust)

Violently epic battles, unpredictable monster transformations, weird and wonderful visual design, and just enough plot to connect it all together. Peak, unhinged ‘80s anime nonsense at its best!

PLUS! We all have our demonic familiar. But we don’t want them to get too familiar. This Halloween, let’s remind our psychically bonded dark entities that we love them, but we’re not “in love” with them at our DEMONIC PLATONIC pre-show. Make a circle of salt around yourself and draw some boundaries.

SUSPENDED ANIMATION saw the terrible thing that you did. But don’t worry! We’ll never tell. That is of course; as long as you stay young forever with us each month at the Texas Theatre and follow on instagram @suspended_animation_txt
