June 21st

CineWilde is turning it up a notch and throwing the ultimate Pride Month bash and you won’t want to miss out!

Join us for a mega QUEER BAZAAR with local non-profit and artist vendors and a screening of the iconic 90s documentary, "The Celluloid Closet" on Sunday, June 21st.

The Bazaar opens at 1 pm, and the film starts at 3 pm.

Directed and co-written by the fierce filmmaker duo Rob Epstein and Jeffrey Friedman, with executive magic by Howard Rosenman, "The Celluloid Closet" takes you on a journey through the history of Hollywood’s portrayal of gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender characters. Based on Vito Russo's legendary book, it's a glittering investigation of how the entertainment industry shaped society’s depiction of queer issues.

Get your glam on before the show starts at our QUEER BAZAAR! From unique artisans to inspiring non-profits, it's a celebration of all our local queer community has to offer. So come early and let's celebrate Pride Month CineWilde style!

Our programming is sponsored in part by the Dallas Office of Arts and Culture.

Presented by CinéWilde, America's longest-running monthly LGBTQ film series. CinéWilde promotes education, entertainment & engagement with pre-film discussions & post-show art events!
