Amores Perros debuted at the Cannes Film Festival in May of 2000. Going on to have its major film release the following month in Mexico. Amores Perros tells a visceral and multi-layered story about a car accident that ends up tying together three different lives through love, violence, grief and loss all set in Mexico City.
