Mocky Horror Picture Show Mocks “Jack Frost”
Mocky Horror Picture Show Mocks “Jack Frost”
Dallas’ only live, interactive, movie mocking comedy show is returning to the Texas Theatre for the holidays! And they’re bringing one of the worst holiday movies of all time!
“Jack Frost” stars Michael Keaton as a traveling musician who’s never home for the holidays. The one time he tries to make it back home for Christmas, he dies in a car wreck (no, really) and comes back to life as a talking snowman. If you’re thinking, “Well, what’s so bad about that?”, wait until you see the snowman. That means it’s perfect for the Mocky Horror Picture Show!
Mocky Horror’s movie riffers Liz Barksdale, Danny Gallagher and Albie Robles make fun of a movie in the theater while you watch it but they want the audience to join in the action as well. They write special prompts and jokes just for the audience to yell at the screen and give the audience a bag of props to interact with the movie. And this time, the audience will have a snowball fight right in the middle of the film!
Also, it wouldn’t be the holidays without gifts. That’s why they’ve hidden a couple of prizes in some of the bags including a $50 gift card!
Join the Mocky Horror Picture Show for a special holiday mock of “Jack Frost” at 7 pm on Sunday, December 29th! Visit mockyhorror.com to learn more about upcoming events.
