The Giant Gila Monster with original drummer of The Cramps, Miriam Linna

Friday, Nov 21
7:00 PM Entrepreneur Miriam Linna (The Cramps/Norton Records co-founder) returns to Dallas to reveal all in a spellbinding presentation connecting Jack Ruby, Lee Harvey Oswald, monster movies, and more! Linna’s talk is the prelude to a screening of the locally-produced and filmed creature feature classic, THE GIANT GILA MONSTER (1959).

Miriam Linna joined seminal Psychobilly band The Cramps in 1976 as its original drummer. She and Billy Miller co-founded New York-based Norton Records in 1986 to uncover, and recover great un-lauded music — hillbilly, rhythm & blues, instrumental, garage, doowop, and soul music. In 2013 Linna debuted Songs from the Grassy Knoll, an album of tribute and topical songs regarding the JFK assassination.
