TNT: SNAKE EATER (1989)
Lorenzo Lamas stars as Jack Kelly (but you can call him “Soldier”), an aloof veteran-turned-cop who doesn’t play by the rules. In his action film debut, Lamas’ performance prompted this exaltation from Joe Bob Briggs in his Orlando Sentinel review of the film, “All I can say is that I’ve seen the future of scum-sweeping motor-vehicle-crashing-drive-in heroes and the future is Lorenzo.” Honorable mention goes to the comic relief provided by Larry Csonka and Dallas Cowboys legend Randy White as “Jesse Night”.
