TNT168: CYBORG (1989)
1/3 9:15 PMRIP Albert Pyun, one of the greats of b-movie magic. CYBORG, the last gasp of Cannon Films, was made using leftover sets and costumes from Master of the Universe. Jean Claude Van Damme does what the Muscles from Brussels does – the splits, and sweaty. Despite many production and funding issues, this film is perhaps the most cohesive and certainly the most commercially of Pyun’s career. This is about as mainstream as we get over here at TNT, but we needed to honor the legend after his recent passing.
