MARTIN LANDAU IMPECCABLY PLAYS BELA LUGOSI IN TIM BURTON’S “ED WOOD”
“Pull the strings!” Martin Landau‘s performance as the aging horror icon, Bela Lugosi in Tim Burton‘s ED WOOD, is a true testament to the actor’s talents, and a sincere way to bid fond farewell to such a genuine spirit and hardworking artist. Celebrate the life of Martin Landau vicariously through life and work of the worst director ever to grace Hollywood, on screen in 35mm in bold black and white.
We also continue our celebration of punk rock and the culture surrounding it with a showing of SLC PUNK! in 35mm. Obviously, we immediately follow with a punk rock BTS show!
Punk rock fans are also Cary Elwes fans. You’d think it’d be inconceivable to grab a ticket to see him live at the Majestic along with a screening of THE PRINCESS BRIDE; but fear not, sweet princes and princesses, there’s still a couple more floating out there.
If you missed 68 KILL at OCFF, come out for a few screenings this weekend, co-presented by the festival and Cinestate.
