Join Heather, Heather, Heather and Veronica for an exclusive screening of one of the greatest high school movies ever produced, HEATHERS. Following the show, stay for a pep rally, behind-the-screen style, with Two Knights and Pollen.
Tonight! Journey down the rabbit hole in Louis Malle’s fantastical Alice in Wonderland-esquedreamscape, BLACK MOON! Complete with a talking unicorn, talking flowers, a gender war, Joe Dallesandro and all kinds of other weird stuff, we’re giddy to present this on surreal 35mm. Stick around for a whimsical show behind the screen, featuring Blixaboy and Time.
We’re also showing the ultimate identity, reality and gender-bending classic, PERFORMANCE, by Nicholas Roeg and Donald Camell, starring Mick Jagger, James Fox and the late-great Anita Pallenberg on hedonistic 35mm! Followed by behind the screen PERFORMANCEs from Pearl Earl, George Quartz & Big Bill.
We’re also icing the puck this week as we turn the Texas Theatre into a giant hockey rink! Not really; but we are opening GOON: LAST OF THE ENFORCERS.
This week we also bring you the latest installment of TUESDAY NIGHT TRASH with BLONDE DEATH, featuring a BLEEDING SKULL intro from Zack Carlson!
Finally, we’re holding over the Oak Cliff Film Fest‘s fruit film of the year, LEMON and the 2K digital restoration of Michelangelo Antonioni’s first English-language film, BLOW-UP.
